Microneedling accomplishes the same results as other procedures (such as lasers) but requires no downtime and no harmful or painful side effects. True PRP, platelet-rich plasma, contains up to 30x the growth factors of normal blood. True PRP will require more blood to be drawn and a multi-step procedure to extract the platelets. This can take 30 minutes or more just for the preparation of the PRP. Only a tiny percentage of blood is platelets, which have factors that help generate collagen growth.
Inauthentic PRP requires only a small amount of blood, which therefore doesn’t provide the restorative factors that true PRP does. It is important to go to a location that uses true PRP so you are getting maximum results.
